About Dr. Adi Einhorn
Periodontist in Herzliya Pituach, Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology
Welcome. I’m Dr. Adi Einhorn, a periodontist in Israel and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in the United States. At my Herzliya Pituach practice, I provide periodontal and dental implant care with a focus on preserving natural teeth, thoughtful planning, and building trusting, long-term relationships with my patients.
I believe comfortable, effective care begins with listening. Taking the time to understand your concerns, goals, and treatment history helps me recommend care that is appropriate for your needs. My role is to explain your oral health and treatment options clearly, answer your questions, and support you in making decisions with confidence.
Education, Teaching, and Continuing Education
I completed specialty training in periodontics and implant dentistry at New York University (NYU), graduating with distinction. During my training, I received a scholarship from the NYU Academy of Distinguished Educators and earned first place at NYU Research Day.
I taught and supervised dental students at NYU and, after returning to Israel, served for many years as a clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontology at Tel Aviv University.
I have lectured in Israel and internationally and continue to pursue advanced courses and professional training worldwide. This ongoing education helps me evaluate new techniques and technologies carefully and consider them when they are supported by evidence and appropriate for my patients.
Your Consultation
Your first visit begins with a conversation about your medical and dental history, symptoms, previous experiences, concerns, and goals. You are welcome to ask questions throughout the visit, and if you feel anxious about dental care, you can share that with me so we can take your comfort into account.
I then examine your teeth and gums and review relevant X-rays or imaging. Additional tests may be recommended when needed to better understand your condition.
We will discuss the findings together in clear, straightforward language, including what may require attention, the available options, their benefits and limitations, and what treatment and recovery may involve.
My goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of your situation and a treatment plan that feels appropriate and manageable—with time to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and consider your options.
A Treatment Plan Built Around You
Every plan is tailored to your oral and overall health, comfort, priorities, expectations, and long-term maintenance needs. We will discuss the recommendations together so you understand the purpose of each step and what to expect.
Whenever feasible, I prioritize preserving natural teeth. Treatment may include nonsurgical periodontal care, regenerative procedures, gum grafting, or procedures to improve the gumline. When teeth are missing, dental implants may be considered, with bone grafting or sinus augmentation when necessary.
Whether treatment involves one procedure or several stages, I explain the reasoning behind each recommendation and coordinate with your general dentist or other specialists when appropriate. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and understand how the different parts of your care fit together.
The Principles Behind My Care
Long-term support
Follow-up visits, personalized home care, and periodontal maintenance are important parts of treatment, with timing tailored to your needs. We can adjust your ongoing care as your oral health and circumstances change.
Continued learning
I remain current in periodontics and implant dentistry, selecting approaches for their clinical value and relevance to your care.
Quality and precision
I emphasize thoughtful planning, careful technique, and the use of appropriate materials, instruments, magnification, and lighting for each situation.
Thoroughness and patience
Careful diagnosis, attention to detail, and clear explanations help create a treatment plan you can understand and feel comfortable discussing.

A Personal Approach to Long-Term Oral Health
Maintaining healthy gums, teeth, and implants is an ongoing process. Trust, open communication, and a strong doctor-patient relationship are central to it.
At my Herzliya Pituach practice, I strive to provide a calm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and taking the time you need to understand your care.
Whether you have bleeding gums, recession, sensitivity, or loose teeth—or want a specialist’s opinion before treatment—you are welcome to schedule a consultation.
Together, we will assess your oral health, discuss your options, and create a clear, personalized plan for your care, with attention to both your immediate needs and your long-term oral health.
